Serien er kuratert av poeten og oversetteren <strong>Fatemeh Ekhtesari<\/strong>, og hvert arrangement inviterer publikum inn i en praktisk og felles oversettelsesprosess, i samarbeid med inviterte forfattere, oversettere og kulturpersonligheter fra b\u00e5de Norge og utlandet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det f\u00f8rste verkstedet ble holdt p\u00e5 <strong>Lillehammer bibliotek og litteraturhus<\/strong> , og b\u00f8d p\u00e5 en hel ettermiddag med samtaler, l\u00e6ring og kulturell utveksling. Arrangementet startet med en samtale mellom den iranske poeten <strong>Mehdi Mousavi<\/strong> og Fatemeh Ekhtesari om poesi, sensur og livet i eksil. Deretter fulgte en diskusjon om oversettelse mellom Fatemeh, <strong>Samuel Tongue<\/strong> fra Scottish Poetry Library og den norske forfatteren <strong>Gunstein Bakke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deltakerne ble deretter invitert til \u00e5 delta i et <em>borgeroversettelsesverksted<\/em>, som startet med \u00e5 oversette idiomer mellom farsi og norsk, og som til slutt beveget seg over i samarbeid om poesiover\u00adsettelser. Verkstedet ga innsikt i de kulturelle og spr\u00e5klige utfordringene ved oversettelse \u2013 og i hvilke muligheter slike prosesser gir for gjensidig forst\u00e5else. Det fungerte b\u00e5de som en introduksjon til iransk litteratur og som en m\u00f8teplass mellom det iranske og det norske samfunnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stemningen ble ytterligere l\u00f8ftet av levende iransk musikk fremf\u00f8rt av <strong>Mahboobeh Amooshahi<\/strong> og simultantolkning ved <strong>Atefe Asadi<\/strong>, noe som sikret en inkluderende opplevelse for alle
